Are you into badminton as a sport? Did you know that badminton's history came all the way back to ancient Greece? It's roots came from a game called "Battledore and Shuttlecock".

"Battledore and Shuttlecock", the game from which badminton originated, was played by two or more persons using a small racquets which are called battledore. The game's objective was to pass the shuttlecock, shuttle for short, amongst each other for as many times as possible without the shuttle falling to the ground.

Two thousand years later, the main objective of badminton has not really changed but technology has helped a lot in it's evolution. Nowadays you'd see "light as a feather" rackets being used playing badminton.

To play and enjoy a game of badminton, you'll need at least the proper clothes, footwear, a badminton racket, shuttlecocks and of course a badminton court.
